Luxury Retreat
A worn pool deck renewed with travertine pavers, coordinated pool and hot tub coping, and a seamless connection to the existing outdoor kitchen.
The project
Replacing a weathered surface without losing the flow of the space.
The existing pool deck and patio had moss-covered pavers that had become worn and unsightly. Urban removed the old material and rebuilt the surface with travertine pavers around the pool.
The new work continued through the pool coping and around the hot tub, then tied back into the existing outdoor kitchen. The travertine colors and textures now read as one connected poolside space rather than a collection of separate areas.
From old surface to finished retreat
What changed
The project focused on the surfaces and details that shape how the pool area looks and reads as a whole.
Remove
The old, moss-covered pavers were taken out so the pool deck could be rebuilt on a clean starting point.
Rebuild
Travertine pavers were installed around the pool to create a more cohesive and refined deck surface.
Finish
Pool coping and hot tub coping completed the edges and helped tie the patio into the existing outdoor kitchen.
