A 2024 Charlotte backyard transformation pairing artificial turf with a horizontal wooden retaining wall and a repositioned chain-link fence.
The project
Patchy ground gave way to a defined green surface.
Before work began, the backyard had exposed soil, leaves, and sparse grass beside a chain-link fence. The completed yard replaces that uneven visual field with artificial turf .
A horizontal wooden retaining wall now defines the yard edge. The chain-link fence was repositioned along the wall line, preserving a continuous boundary around the transformed space.

Ground Plane
